HONOR MINDY AND JIM CASSEL
The Children’s Bereavement Center (CBC), with Spotlight Sponsor Azamara Club Cruises, DLA Piper, Nancy Hector, and Vitas Healthcare, are excited to announce the return of its annual Rockin’ on the Green event, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at University of Miami’s, Donna E. Shalala Student Center. This casual fun evening will include a delicious dinner by A Joy Wallace Catering, dancing and shopping, all while supporting children and families grieving the loss of a loved one.
The CBC is thrilled to be honoring its co-founder Mindy
Cassel, PhD and her husband, Jim Cassel at this year’s Rockin’ on the Green. This
is a pivotal moment for the CBC and the community to recognize the
contributions and achievements of the Cassel’s and the impact they have made on
so many lives.
The evening commences with an impressive silent auction
featuring luxury gifts, fine dining, stunning jewelry, prime event tickets, and
more. Other highlights of the evening include:
- Mystery Jewelry Box Raffle returns: Each box holds a beautiful piece of jewelry but only one lucky winner will receive a Breitling watch, valued at $7,500. 100 boxes available for sale.
- Some of the Live Auction items include tickets aboard the finest luxury ships from Azamara Club Cruises and Oceania Cruises.
- Gourmet delights by A Joy Wallace Catering, Bacardi cocktails, beer by Islamorada Beer Company, and fine wines donated by Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits.
- The Batchelor Foundation will generously provide matching funds up to $20,000 for donations to sponsor a CBC child.

All CBC Peer Support Groups are FREE to
participants. The CBC serves children ages 5 through young adulthood as well as
adult caregivers and adults (age 18+) with their own personal loss.
