Misha’s Cupcakes Brings Sweet Hope on Children’s Grief Awareness Day 11/16/17

Join the Children’s Bereavement Center on Thursday, November 16, 2017 for the national recognition of Children’s Grief Awareness Day. Local organizations such as the CBC, with centers in Miami-Dade and Broward as well as national associations such as the National Alliance for Grieving Children (NAGC) are engaged in outreach and awareness campaigns to make the Thursday before Thanksgiving an annual, national day of recognition.

Children are often the forgotten mourners. This day is intended to bring light to the children in our communities who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
Misha’s Cupcakes has partnered with the CBC for the third year with a special in-store promotion! All proceeds from her special chocolate minis being sold in all 5 store locations on November 16th, will be donated to the Children’s Bereavement Center (CBC).

Owner and Misha’s Cupcake founder, Misha Kuryla Gomez said “I support the CBC because they have a huge responsibility in the community, and care for people who do not have a voice or the means to express themselves since they are children.”
